Compliance Outreach and Enforcement [TOP]

The MDA maintains five field offices, each staffed with an agricultural specialist, to conduct compliance outreach and enforcement activities. Compliance outreach activities include education, training, testing, and licensing services. Agricultural specialists conduct routine inspections and investigate incidents and complaints of alleged violations to ensure compliance with the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and the Montana Pesticides Act (MPA). Where violations are found, the MDA takes an appropriate enforcement action.

If you need assistance in complying with pesticide regulations or if you wish to file a pesticide complaint, please contact the MDA's Helena office at (406)444-5400 or click on this link for a list of pesticide field offices
